Kobex designs and manufactures steel structures.
Its dynamic growth required the expansion of its production plant.
One part of the new building features a total of 3,500 m2 of Balex Metal sandwich panels.
The project owner decided to have the sandwich panels installed with the PLUS-system concealed fasteners to add a smart touch to the finish.
The roofing is also made from sandwich panels. The skylights added to the concept provide the new buildings with much more daylight.
The new production building features PIR and PUR-core sandwich panels with superior thermal insulation performance, to maintain thermal comfort in winter and summer.
The project was completed with the following materials from Balex Metal:
- 120-mm thick PUR-core roof sandwich panels - roofing (1,700 m2)
- 100-mm thick PUR-core wall sandwich panels - building wall (1,100 m2)
- 100-mm thick PIR-core wall sandwich panels - building walls (0,55 tys. m2)
- 80-mm thick PIR-core wall sandwich panels - building walls (250 m2)
