BogØya is a Norwegian island with a large fish processing storage freezer.
The storage freezer was built with dedicated PU-F sandwich panels, which feature improved thermal insulating performance.
This helps to maintain the correct storage temperatures inside, irrespective of the weather conditions outside.
Maintaining a constant storage temperature is critical to the warehousing of food.
The project was completed with the following materials from Balex Metal:
- PU-F polyurethane-core (PIR) sandwich panels, thickness: 100, 160, and 200 mm: for the building walls
